Solar fracture

Solar Fracture is an Acrylic painting 48 inch X 48 inch on a cotton canvas. This painting is a reminder of how quickly our lives can become so over whelmed with pressures of the day that we sometimes crack under the weight. The way the petals or flames lick outward creates a sense of force, as if the painting is spinning while you look at it.

The horizontal cracks or ridges in the sphere suggest the weights we place on our selves under immense pressure. It’s a reminder that we often place things in our hearts that should not be there. Forcing one to center them selves and remember we can control the uncontrollable.
