Story behind the painting: I wanted to see if I could use this way of painting to show a liquid form representing vitality. The colors I chose were saturated crimson that give a dramatic central heart of the canvas. It captures the raw, elegant chaos of nature like magma cooling or the deep cosmos. The vitality of red is to show the physical and mental energy we all need to keep our lives in order. Forcing ourselves to be better versions of our selves by overcoming the trials that life brings. Like the old saying goes: what does not kill you makes you stronger.
